This Yarn Club is dedicated to CLEANING up the OCEAN!

Because, when we clean the ocean, we clean ourselves. And when we, more and more consciously choose to use clean and sustainable products in our crafting, we are activists for a better, cleaner planet.  When you help create a better world it's with small actions like knitting sustainable and ethically sourced yarns that you can make a big difference. Let's help to clean up the great pacific garbage patch and give ourselves a much needed spring boost with this refreshing and beautiful set (one size only);

The club contains:

  • 2 SKEINS fair trade & sustainably sourced 80% baby Alpaca yarn, 20 % GOTS certified organic merino wool. 50Gg,175m, sport weight. A topnotch designer quality yarn, supersoft and drapy, wonderful for a luxurious scarf. The skeins have a smokey grey appearance and will be dyed multicoloured, inspired by colours of the OCEAN.

  • A spool of 10g matching pure Mulberry SILK THREAD, for silk trimmings, embroidery or embellishments of your project.

  • IN NEED OF VITAMIN SEA HappySoap Shampoo bar. This soap is locally handmade by two brothers from Hall, a village close to Brummen. It's completely plastic free, vegan, palmoilfree, cruelty free and simply a fresh breeze of delight to clean your hair with! One shampoobar saves 3-4 plastic bottles of shampoo!

  • A RECYCLING TEA MUG, handmade by Arnhem artist Esther Groenekan. A signature collection using only leftover clay and dump-materials that would otherwise have gone to waste, to create wonderfully individual pieces of pottery and china. Each piece is different!

  • PELIKAAN tea – a most refreshing cleansing spring tea from the famous Royal Warranty family company, our favorite tea House from nearby Zutphen. “Guaranteed to put a smile on your face”

  • 5% of this clubs' profit will be DONATED to the foundation & non-profit organisation "THE OCEAN CLEANUP" who created a marvellous contraption to clean the plastic soup and are now developing new materials from Oceanwaste.
