27th of March at 21.00 PM a new base that i am totally in love with right now will come to the shop. It is a completely natural yarn made with 50% baby alpaca, 25% silk and 25% linen, lovely drapy and with a beautiful silky sheen. It makes you happy on sight!

THE YARN: Manis comes at a fingering weight (425 m) and i have dyed it in in a semisolid palette of candy colours and a couple of neutrals. Apart from shawls it lends itself perfectly for loose summery garments and crocheting. Feels very soft and quite dry to the touch, very smooth and like linen to work with. It doesn't have much memory or spring like wool, but for that it makes tops and summer crops and tees with a lovely drape. Feeling dry, light and soft to the skin.
